MASKFACE PFF-2 CF Disposable Mask (with slit and without valve)
The MASKFACE PFF-2 CF disposable mask is an air-purifying respirator of the filtering half-face type for particles. The mask has a foldable shell shape and features ultrasonic welding along its entire perimeter. The mask’s external side is available in royal blue.

Mask Layers
The mask consists of the following layers (from outer to inner):

  • TNT PP ROYAL BLUE (Nonwoven polypropylene-based fabric);
  • PES WHITE LAYER (Nonwoven polyester-based fabric);
  • MELTBLOWN PP (Filter element made of electrostatically treated polypropylene microfibers for particle retention);
  • TNT PP WHITE (Nonwoven polypropylene-based fabric).

ROYAL BLUE VERSION

  • TNT PP ROYAL BLUE (Nonwoven polypropylene-based fabric);
  • PES WHITE LAYER (Nonwoven polyester-based fabric);
  • MELTBLOWN PP (Filter element made of electrostatically treated polypropylene microfibers for particle retention);
  • TNT PP WHITE (Nonwoven polypropylene-based fabric).

The elastic strap is fixed on the sides of the mask through two slits, one on each side, for the elastic to pass through, forming two bands (lower and upper). At the end of the strap, there is a device for adjusting the respirator to the user’s face. The upper part of the mask features a moldable nose clip embedded between the layers to fit the user’s nasal bridge.

The inscriptions “SBPR / CA Number / Class / Lot” are marked on the external side of the mask, along with the INMETRO/BV_OCP seal.

CLASS AND USE OF THE MASK
Classification: PFF-2S (Filtering half-face respirator for particles, class 2).
Use: Designed to retain particulates such as dust, mists, fumes, crystalline silica, asbestos, and certain biological agents in aerosol form, providing respiratory protection to the user.
S: PFF is recommended only for use against solid and water-based liquid particles.

The APF (Assigned Protection Factor) of this mask is 10.
N95: This PFF-2S mask is equivalent to N95, a classification used in the USA (NIOSH).

MAXIMUM CONCENTRATION OF USE

  • For particulates: Up to 10 times the exposure limit, provided the contaminant’s exposure limit is greater than 0.05 mg/m³. If it is less than or equal to 0.05 mg/m³, use PFF-3.
  • For crystalline silica: Up to 10 times the exposure limit.
  • For asbestos: Below the exposure limit.
    Note: The maximum use concentration must not exceed IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health).
