The ABSOLUTE Half-Face Mask is a safety air-purifying respirator, half-face type, with a body that combines an external support made of rigid plastic material in gray at its central part, and the rest of the facial piece made of gray thermoplastic elastomer.
The facial piece features two plastic devices on its sides, one on each side, equipped with a bayonet-type fitting at the front where chemical, combination, and particle filters are attached. At the rear of each device, an inhalation valve is fixed. The respirator has an exhalation valve located at the lower center part.
The rigid gray plastic external support is attached by a pressure-type fitting to the exhalation valve device and serves as a cover for this valve. This support has four openings on its sides, two upper openings, and two lower openings, through which the ends of two adjustable elastic straps pass freely. The upper strap includes a plastic head cradle.
The mask is designed to use two filters.
The APF (Assigned Protection Factor) of this mask is 10, meaning it can be used in environments where the contaminant does not exceed 10 times its permissible limit.
Filters sold separately.
